gamecube: day 1

despite the fact that caylee was missing for half the day (relaxing somewhere i'm sure), we did some pretty tough cleaning today. luckily, i found the gamecube. we're really into video games right now (mainly anything involving mario). after working really hard and being exposed to giant black widows and toxic water my mom started being really nice to us. she served us popsicles AND ice cream while we played gamecube (we actually had to pause the game for caylee to eat her popsicle because her teeth are too sensitive to hold it in her mouth for the 30 second mini game). we told my mom that we needed new video games and she said "okay." cha-ching! by the time alex took us to target to get a game (they were closed), i had decided that i also needed to buy the movies 10 things i hate about you and wicker park so we wanted to keep an eye out for them. next we tried k mart because they don't close early on sundays. first we looked at dvds. i found wicker park for only $9.99! i was so excited. they didn't have 10 things i hate about you so we went to look for games. k mart does not have a gamecube game section!! the three of us wept like babies and threw hannah montana tvs and gameboy cases all over the floor of the store. we checked out with only the one dvd. it turns out it was on sale for $4.99! not that i want to glorify k mart but where else can you get an amazing dvd for only $5.40 (with tax)? anyways, we didn't get a new game but alex brought some over. tomorrow is a new day.
